delete your account
two ways — pick whichever you can do right now.
option 1 — in the Mac app (one click)
The fastest path. Open Flaudit on your Mac, then:
- Open the dashboard — from the outro slide of your Wrapped, or directly via the app menu.
- Scroll to the danger zone card.
- Click delete my account and confirm.
That call immediately:
- removes your row + your school-year flake score from our Supabase database
- removes your per-scan audit rows from
scan_audits - wipes
~/.flakedrop/on your Mac (plans, evidence, cursor, cached auth) - signs you out
- brings you back to the welcome screen
Nothing is recoverable after.
option 2 — email us
If you can’t access the app (Mac dead, Full Disk Access revoked, account locked out, whatever):
Email the deletion request
Send a message to divyeshk@stanford.edu with the subject “Delete my Flaudit account.” Include the email you signed in with so we can find your row.
We’ll process it within 7 days during the beta and reply when it’s done.
what else you can do locally
Independent of either option above, you can clean up the on-device footprint at any time:
- Delete
~/.flakedrop/to wipe your scan history and evidence cache. - Quit and uninstall the app to stop all collection.
- Revoke Full Disk Access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access.
For the legal version of what gets deleted and when, see section 7 of the privacy policy.
